(It's been a while since I've tled something and I'm still learning jp so please take this tl with a grain of salt!! also, pls ignore the images not fitting on mobile phones,,, idk why it's doing that and i can't fix it no matter how much I try...)

yay

Muneuji: I’m back, U-chan. Did you enjoy the book?

Ushio: …Did you really think that I’m able to enjoy it after that close call incident?

Well, I’m grateful to Mu-chan for taking that Stupidtake out of the room though.

Muneuji: Don’t mention it. I’m glad if I was able to help you.

Ushio: …Speaking of which, I don’t wanna continue dealing with inconsiderate people barging in during my leisure time.

I’ll start by making sure to lock the door… In preparation for when that idiot breaks in, I’ll need to think of a place to hide my books.

Hiding it under the bed should do the trick… Should I go buy a costume case and hide it inside…? Ah but it’s way too common that I’m concerned for it to be found quickly…

In the first place, I won’t be able to quickly pick it up whenever I suddenly want to read it again…
Argh, I would’ve just freely lined them up on the bookshelf if I was at home…!

Muneuji: Apologies for putting a wet blanket[1] when you’re thinking of various ideas, but I’ve got something good.

Ushio: Something good?

Muneuji: It’s this shelf. It looks like your average display shelf at first glance however, if you slide this part, there’s a storage space inside.

Therefore, if U-chan lines up his books in here, places an English-Japanese dictionary or a textbook outside, Isotake will rarely approach him.

Ushio: Woah… you’re right. I have a feeling that displaying my textbooks will go the other way around and cause it to look more suspicious but this might actually be the best place to hide them.

…But, is it alright for you to give it to me? Didn’t Mu-chan buy it because he wanted to use it?

Muneuji: That was my intention, however, it was a little small for me to use. That’s why I want U-chan to use it if he wants.

Ushio: Mu-chan…

I appreciate it. With this, I’m able to save my leisure time.

(From helping me out with that Stupidtake, to even giving me this shelf…)

yay

Muneuji: I’m back—

U-chan, you’re already back?

Ushio: Yeah, it’s because I’ve got nothing important to do today.

Muneuji: It’ll be great if I get to take my time like that too[2].

…Hm? There’s chocolate on the table, did U-chan make them?

Ushio: …They’re leftovers. Eat ‘em if you want.

Muneuji: Leftovers you say… This planet-shaped chocolate…

Ushio: …

Muneuji: …This is for being thankful, isn’t it?

Thank you, U-chan. As expected, U-chan’s chocolates are the number one most delicious chocolates in the universe.

Ushio: …You’re exaggerating, Mu-chan.

Footnotes:

[1] Wet blanket is a term for a person who spoils other people's fun by failing to join in with or by disapproving of their activities according to oxford. think of it as like being a killjoy or a party-pooper.
[2] The sentence Muneuji said here was それはゆっくりできそうでいいな and methinks its him being a bit envious of ushio having free time so tled it like that! i may be wrong though (during when i was undecided on how to tl it, i wrote "good for you bich")
